Since getting "hit" (baby, one more time...), I've been an unabashed BritBrit fan. I saw her in concert 5 times, owned all of the remixes, practiced her music video dances in my parent's midwest basement via a pause and rewind of the VCR. Heck, I even bought her midriff-bearing Barbie doll... And displayed it on my college dorm room shelf! Yes, I was a true Homo-Spears-ual.
But after last night's MTV VMA Awards, I'm left speechless. Britney's new song, "Gimme More" rocked. But, sadly, so did Brit's backfat, as she stumbled through the motions and tripped over her own feet. I was just so sad. Apparently, KFC and meth does not do a body good.
OK, I'm gonna pronounce is. Britney Spears career? DOA at 8:03 PM on Sunday, September 9th.
Well, maybe there's still a little hope. After all, I hear Surreal Life 18 begins casting soon.
