J.K. Rowling was taking questions at an event Oct. 19 in Carnegie Hall when she was asked if the headmaster of Hogwarts, Albus Dumbledore, ever finds love. Her response drew gasps and applause from the audience: He is gay, and his life's love was Gellert Grindelwald, the wizard-gone-bad whom he later brought to justice.
Somewhere, a Dungeons & Dragons loving, Star Wars watching, XBox 360 obsessing, marching band participating, unloveably love-handled, pizza-faced, 14-year-old ever-awkward closet case of a midwestern boy youth just shot a load in his elastic-waisted sweatpants.
